The Los Angeles Daily News has an excellent summary of the California Governator's newly release budget.
For dentistry it means a reduction in state dental care for the poor:
"Schwarzenegger's much-anticipated overhaul of Medi-Cal, California's $34 billion taxpayer-funded health care system for the poor, was included his budget. The revamp includes limiting dental coverage to $1,000 annually and charging a family of four earning over $18,850 per year a premium of $4 per month per child and $10 per month for adults, with a maximum of $27 a month per family."
